Still no details on what I'm researching. I don't think it's a big deal, but I'd rather post fewer specifics anyway. I did spend a great deal of my workday on it, though, which was fine. I ate lunch at my desk to avoid walking too much, and really began hitting a brick wall around 2/3PM. It's a pretty interesting topic, but finding unique sources is proving a bit difficult. My supervisor had stayed home today, and her boss doesn't believe in stamp-licking (read: making work just to give the intern work), so I was told to skedaddle early.
There are so very many resources at The Washington Center that are free for any of us to take advantage of. What a blessing! Tonight was Resumania! which was sort of a capstone to all of the resume workshops we've had going on the past couple of weeks. We took our "finished" resume to a table where we had a TWC staff member check it over. I received helpful tips and feedback from Patty, who works at the HQ office, and went "home" (upstairs and down the hall; awful commute!) feeling productive.
Tonight the girls and I had decided to make another Pinterest recipe, and I taught Roommate #1 how to make my favorite Artisan Bread recipe. Italian tonight! We've had spectacular success with pinterest recipes so far, and tonight's didn't disappoint. It was a chicken stroganoff sort of dish. That sauce was amazing.
