One of the benefits of not drinking alcohol, especially in ridiculous amounts, is that I woke up without the headache that my peers did. Saturday was quiet without all of the excited movement that yesterday held. I decided to go on walkabout, exploring the area I've lived in for five weeks but haven't really seen.
During the afternoon, I met Roommate #2 at the Library of Congress, and together we navigated the underground Tunnels of Doom (also known as the underground connecting tunnels between some of the major buildings...). The prize for staying alive -- a daunting task at times --, you ask? Do you see what I'm holding in the photo below?
After getting my Library of Congress reader card, Roommate #2 and I headed back to grab our other roommate. We spent the evening in China Town watching Maleficent with one of Roommate #2's church friends, and Alan, an intern I met at Arlington.
